Why use this

Students already know they should sleep more and scroll less. What changes behaviour is seeing their own week as numbers and picking one small thing to try, not a lecture.

Health data about a child is private. The sheet says so in the student's own words, and nothing on it is designed to be read aloud or pinned up.

How to run it

  1. 1.Read the privacy line together. Students decide what, if anything, they share.4 min
  2. 2.Model one row on the board with made up numbers. Show how hours asleep is worked out from bed time and wake time.6 min
  3. 3.One week at home: one row a day.2 min
  4. 4.Next lesson: graph on Sheet B, pattern and change on Sheet C.15 min
  5. 5.Make your own: plan the one week test.8 min
