What's on the page

Four things you can see before you print

Every sheet opens the same way. You read the top of the page, decide in about ten seconds whether it fits the lesson, and move on if it doesn't.

  • Minutes — How long the activity runs. Slot it into a literacy block, a rotation, or the last twenty minutes of a Friday without guessing.
  • Outcomes — What the sheet is built to practise, written in plain teacher language instead of codes you have to go and look up.
  • Materials — What needs to be on the desk: scissors, coloured pencils, a mini whiteboard. Ordinary classroom gear, nothing you have to order in.
  • Steps — The run of the activity from set-up to pack-up, short enough that a relief teacher can pick it up cold and still run it well.

How we work

A clear path from first conversation to finished work.

  1. Printable worksheets by subject

Sheets across English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, The Arts, and Health, each listing minutes, outcomes, materials, and steps.

  2. Year band filtering

Browse resources by F-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, and 9-10 so the sheet matches the class in front of you.

  3. Teacher accounts

Create a separate teacher account to save sheet titles to your own list and pick up where you left off.

  4. Lesson outline helper

Choose a subject and year band, describe the lesson, and get a draft outline you can edit before you teach it.

Where we stand

Who these Australian classroom worksheets are for

We write for classroom teachers, relief teachers and coordinators working anywhere from Foundation to Year 10. Six subjects: English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities, The Arts and Health.

Year bands are F-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10, so the sheet matches the class in front of you rather than a rough guess at a grade. A Year 3 teacher covering a Year 6 class on short notice can find something that will actually hold.

These sheets support your planning. They do not replace the Australian Curriculum and they are not your school's program. You still decide what the term looks like. We just want to take the 8:15 photocopier scramble off your morning.

If a teacher account suits you, one saves the titles you like so you can pick up where you left off. There is also a lesson outline helper: choose a subject and year band, describe the lesson, and edit the draft before you teach it. It is a starting point, not a finished program.

If the sheet you need isn't in the library, tell us. Send the subject, the year band, the lesson goal and the minutes you have, and we'll look at writing it.

Request a sheet

A sheet earns its place if a relief teacher can pick it up cold, read four lines at the top, and run it well. If it needs explaining, we rewrite it.
